A group working on interdisciplinary performances, installations and exhibitions, 2003–2004.
Amoralia was written and directed by Pauliina Hulkko. I participated as an actor. It premiered in
Kiasma Theatre, Contemporary Art Museum, Helsinki, Finland, 2003.
Not really my work, I was just one ot the three performers/actors in it,
This was a collaboration with Ilkka Sariola.
We performed various versions of this performance in 1995-1996, in Finland, Russia and Lithuania.

scripts.
I'm
originally a painter,
so when I first
started to make also
live art, it was
performance art. Then
I migrated into
theatre — or some kind
of theatre.
It
has been very rewarding to me to work
in different realms simultaneously:
visual art, literature, performing
arts, film and theory — in no
hierarchical order.
This
multiplicity also gives my work in
live arts its special qualities (be
they good or bad).
My
works in this field can be
difficult to categorize,
since I often combine
various forms and genres
in a quite democratic
manner.
However,
to me it's all theatre:
performers working for
or with audience in a
live situation.
